Schliemann can be called a treasure hunter, and the world can question the integrity of his findings, but the focus should be on the fact that the world now has the opportunity to enjoy this art for generations to come. However, the techniques used by the British naturalist Arthur Evans should act as a model for the restoration of art because he was able to maintain the integrity of the surrounding environment, as well as provide the world with some amazing art.
